The first Mumbles Holiday Club takes place on 6th/7th/8th August 2024 and your help is needed.
The event is for children aged 5-11yrs and aims to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. This is done via singing, games, sports, videos, and crafts. To enable us to adhere to safeguarding requirements, a minimum of 10 adults per day is needed, the more adults, the easier the day runs.
If you feel able to sit and talk with the children, supervise the use of scissors and glue, please come and help. No experience is required, all activities are designed for 5 yr olds so the children should be able to manage them with minimal support.
The helper day begins with prayer and a review of the day’s activities at 09.30 and finishes at 2.15 following another review and prayer.
The Church is providing a start-up fund, and recycling is key to the activities, but if you can contribute to the food costs, there will be a list provided closer to the time. Above all, by attending you will provide a link to the Church, a Christian example, and this influence cannot be underestimated.
